- im tired of people saying e33 used ai for placeholders on posters in their game when its just not case, as poles that had posters were literally from the unreal asset store and then they replaced it once with their own hand made assets. Whats so hard to grasp that whoever uploaded the asset did that
- they learned to make a video game from tutorials on youtube im very much sure its entirely possible to pluck and asset from a storefront and forget about it like 5 fucking years later but somehow Arc Raider's is perfectly okay even though that guy literally DUMPS money into generative AI

- in all seriousness it is just an unfortunate truth that if you rise up and find success in the arts there will be peers who let their jealousy overwhelm them. in my other creative life i remember the exact MOMENT when i opened a magazine to see a bud i trotted up with suddenly trash talking.
- also happened to coincide with a HUGE PROFESSIONAL WIN. go figure. i was teenager then but even these days i saw this exact moment again when a few authors started jealous chuck grumbles. cue second eyeroll. so chin up buckaroos if they are jealous then you are doing it right. its a badge of honor.
