- I will never forget my first grad school class when I presented on ethics and I was the only one who identified as an activist. I was confused, knowing we all bring personal bias to all life aspects, including science. Problematic in some cases, a strength in others - but best to be informed of it.

I've been on both sides of the situation, wondering if I'm safe or finding out someone knows they can be themselves around me because they see my rainbows. - This made me tear up. The fear is real, especially now. Showing support is life-saving. This #Pride think about adding something to your wardrobe or workplace to show allyship. I am not trans, but I wear a 🏳️⚧️ pin. Even within the queer community we need to show allyship for those more marginalized.
