My criticism of the Burns documentary on the American Revolution is that it's way too limited. Only 6 episodes.
Dec 9, 2025 22:54RIGHT?! There were people and events discussed in like 10 seconds. I waited for Francis Marion, and you could have missed it if you took a long drink.
I was shocked after the 6th episode when it was over..I'm like that's it??
I will say, though, that as he gets older his series get a little shorter BUT he he covering more topics now. So that's the silver lining, we see some different things, perhaps less in-crazy-depth.
