- The genesis of this is that Klauss wants a contract extension, which CITY had no plans to give him. In that context, is it bad to get something for him before his contract expires? No. Is it still a bummer? Yes. Does it put massive pressure on the FO to sign a replacement? 100%.
- Rafael Santos would bring legitimate MLS experience at left back to CITY. While not known for his defending, he does have a calling card - a cannon of a left foot. He also understands proper offensive spacing, as evidenced by him slowing his run here to create space for himself:
