As Hasen notes, presidential & judicial supremacy are what we need to end. Independent national election admin works in parliamentary systems, & we should adopt both

- There may always be some states willing to elect authoritarians. Letting them govern federal elections endangers us all. - Once Trump's regime is removed from power, we need a constitutional refounding to finally create a fully egalitarian democracy. Reconstruction did not go far enough, and we can't repeat the failures of that era by keeping the flawed political institutions that helped bring us to our present crisis
