Listening to a podcast where they're talking about tropes that don't go together and one of the hosts says "it's like soy sauce in my carrot cake, two flavors that don't go together" and my brain immediately went "challenge accepted"
Jan 26, 2026 16:46Although I think miso would be a better choice - carrot cake with either miso cream cheese frosting or a miso caramel drizzle would be delicious (and soy sauce could work in either of those too, I just think miso brings a little more to the table here)
