kids were cranky and uncooperative this morning and when we got in the car I played Bloc Party Silent Alarm, loud, and started drumming really hard on the steering wheel. this completely fixed the vibe great success

Nice this happened for me once with “Reelin in the years”
I don’t even like Steely Dan, outside of the guitar riff in this one song. And Jeff Tweedy does something similar but better (to my ear) in “Impossible Germany” in any case.
But it instantly healed the vibes.
