- Hah! Cutting resources for collection of price data, and now firing the head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) over data of inadequate jobs creation in the economy. Could he be more transparent? Will the average person notice?
- Price data collection is being cut? Convenient that it hits most US residents across the political spectrum? "To align survey workload with resource levels, BLS suspended data collection for portions of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) sample in select areas across the country starting in April.
- “The idea is to put the Palestinians on a diet, but not to make them die of hunger,” a senior adviser to the then prime minister, Ehud Olmert, said in 2006. These calculations were made long before October 2023. And well, they're dying of hunger now.
