- I see we are at that stage of the prime-ministerial lifecycle where they finally show a modicum of human emotion because their own interests are under threat youtu.be/SvzLOnOiKuc?...
- The year is 2026 and Gordon Brown is still not a good politician/person
- Good article and thread. I’ve long thought that the entire ontological foundations of western psychology are incoherent. Any attempt to reify human experience is an artifice and turns subject into object. We need to start again from the ground up (and all become Marxists, obviously!)

- Slowly coming to terms with the fact we may have seen the last Keir Starmer TikTok video 😢
- Nothing particularly analytical to say…just that on an affective level I will forever despise these people and the way they wrecked our efforts to revive some form of social democracy in this country. The further we get from Dec 19, the more that comes out, the more anger I feel…
- Huge story in @theipaper.com "[Mandelson] was very involved in all the details; I think he enjoyed it. He was involved in all the personalities and the mechanics including asking the question of who do we want in which seat" Probably a breach of GDPR laws too ... inews.co.uk/news/politic...
- Reposted by SeanIn the light of Sir Keir Starmer confirming he was aware of Peter Mandelson's ongoing friendship with paedophile Jeffrey Epstein before he was appointed US Ambassador, Reel Politik calls for his IMMEDIATE resignation and exile from public life. And it’s not a bit we’re doing this time
- Reposted by SeanIf this story is accurate, then all those stories about Keir Starmer meticulously selecting only the highest-quality candidates in 2024 were horseshit and, in reality, we are now governed by a crop of MPs personally selected by the financially compromised ‘best pal’ of a child sex trafficker.

- Reposted by Sean@jeremycorbyn.bsky.social : "I can just confirm to the House, under my leadership [of Labour] Mandelson had no role, no influence & no part to play" It was precisely because Corbyn didn't represent the interests of the ruling class (like Mandelson did), that his leadership had to be destroyed
- Mandelson was always central to the Blairite project from the start. Here’s hoping that centrality ends up destroying that tendency once and for all…

- The Labour Party: I’m so so sorry, I didn’t want to employ a man with links to Jeffrey Epstein but I was forced to by the blunt logic of liberal pragmatism in a post ideological age!
- Labour needs to bake morality into how it campaigns and governs. My @newstatesman1913.bsky.social column on the Epstein-Mandelson story, and the hangover of a post-ideological age:
- 1 / ‘Bring shame back’ is an idea I support and part of the story…but I think ‘shame is already here, it’s just not equally distributed’ might characterise the current conjuncture better. #psychology

- Wes, as usual, is speaking truth to power here…he’d never use his magical powers to spread the kind of joy that results in a banker realising that love and kindness are more important than fiscal responsibility
