- A month ago, a department at my job decided after largely ignoring recruitment efforts for the last ~4 years that they *needed* to host recruitment events. They asked myself and a colleague if we would help them. I told my boss, "We're already doing these other events. 1/?"

- First game completed of 2026: Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin I really liked the gameplay despite the difficulty spike at the end. However, the story itself was nothing amazing and I will not be pursuing the post-game

- We had a lovely little vigil for Ollie last night. Laid some flowers and made a memory box for him in his favorite spot. Afterwards, the stars were so bright and we left his candle lit and it’s still going this morning 🥹
- Some more of my favorite photos of Ollie 🥹 we loved him so much, and we’re missing him a lot today. I keep thinking it will get easier and it just feels heavier. He was the best boy and we will never forget him 💙

- Gen 5 and 6’s Pokémon designs are so ass 🫣 Like I’m a Pokémon fan, and some of it is nostalgia, and I can acknowledge there are bad designs in every Gen, but nothing in Gen 5 or 6 really pops to me, and Kalos’s new Pokémon is such a small pool it’s like whatever.
- It’s annoying how a game where it’s not even a central IP managed to do movement and combat for Ichigo’s powers in a more satisfying way than Bleach series video games do.
