- Reposted by Shai AgmonMy wish for 2026 is that politicians and political analysts realize that public opinion is endogenous to elite behavior, that polling single issues tells us nothing about electorally successful strategies, that politics means shaping public opinion and that popularism is the death of progressivism.

- Reposted by Shai AgmonMisinformation *is* central to democratic problems today, but the solution is *not* to correct such epistemic failures directly. - This is a brilliant and important paper that deserves wide attention — relevant for political theorists, political scientists, and civil–military scholars alike. It tackles one of the most neglected questions in the study of democratic backsliding: its relationship with the military.

- Just spoke to @euronews.com about the Trump deal to end the Gaza war. Here are the main points I made 🧵: 1. Trump should have formally brought in the Palestinian Authority as part of both the negotiations and the implementation. >>>
- 2. Still, the remarkable fact is this: a far-right US President and the Israeli PM of the most right-wing government in Israel’s history now endorse a two-state solution (point 19 of the plan) and put an end to annexation fantasies. >>>

- Very excited to share this year’s Ronald Dworkin Colloquium lineup. @ucl.ac.uk has been running this series in legal & political philosophy since 1998, when Dworkin founded it. Still going strong.
- The colloquium is hosted by the Institute for Law, Politics & Philosophy: an interdisciplinary space linking three UCL departments. The idea is simple: bring serious people together to test serious work in progress on big legal and political questions.
