- I've done some comic writing and my advice to aspiring comic writers is this: 1) You won't make any money doing this. 2) No seriously, it will end up costing you money. 3) Read some books about how comics work technically. 4) Try not to think about the money. Because there won't be any.

- I think the problem for Keir Starmer is that his Tory government is not actually, officially a Tory government. So if the nutters all decamp to Reform then Kemi's party look a good option for people who back Starmer on the basis he's the closest thing to Theresa May they can currently vote for.

- I worked with the artist David Hitchcock on The Whitechapel Cordon. He's perfect for Hellboy, as the left-hand cover here conclusively shows.
- I watched Five Nights At Freddy's 2 over the weekend. It was fine. I am aware the reviews were uniformly terrible, but also I don't think any of the critics had a clue what they were actually watching. I only know about FNAF because my son is the right age.
