- OTD in Sesame Street history, 12/16/87, A Muppet Family Christmas premiered for the first time! This special featured the Muppets, the Sesame Street cast, the Fraggles, and Henson himself.

- On this day in Sesame Street history, Sesame Street was on the wrong end of another soulless decision by Zaslav and WB. Hopefully Sesame Workshop can find a new studio that cares more about the IP and the children it was created to educate and inspire.
- Kermit and his human friends Fanny and Shola in 1972, and reunited in 1989. I wonder what it’s like to have the quasi-immortality of a Muppet.

- I like that Sesame Street posted this! Zoe is canonically a 3 year old girl and gets so much hate for having an imaginary friend. When God sings with all Her creations, will Zoe not be part of the choir? Can you handle complex female characters or will you crumble at Her feet and weep?
