I know everyone is asking about the husbands but what’s more interesting to me is she wants to know how they’re going to “continue normal life.”
Because that is all white people ever care about.
Black folks get murdered daily and have to define a “normal” that involves trying to manage the psychological damage of existing in a world that wants us dead.
But white folks “normal” just means how do they keep their kids from seeing the “scary” people aka Black and brown people being brutalized because that might give them a few bad dreams.
