My sweet beagle Betty died today. She’s been in my family for about 12 yrs and she was about 3 yrs old when we got her. She was well loved, even by those who usually don’t like dogs. I’m happy she’s no longer in pain but I miss her terribly. I hope she’s getting lots of treats in the dog afterlife.

Thank you. It hurts so much. I’m looking forward to when I can think of her with more smiles, less pain.
