overwatch dropped the 2 before destiny and i find that kind of hilarious
tbh a lot of blizzard's output is in a similar bucket to me where there's a lot of stuff i really dig (OW's artstyle is nigh perfect imo) but then the whole corporate structure around everything they make is as evil as it gets
Feb 4, 2026 19:41like genuinely the new characters look neat and i do always miss how overwatch felt. but also. i'm never gonna be able to get fully invested in their work ever again unless they completely split from microsoft + activision and really weed out everyone who's ever been responsible for awful shit
and thats obviously never gonna happen bc it'd be too much of a nightmare to figure out legally so here i am just kinda going "man i wish i could not feel weird about being interested in this"
also going from 3 characters in a year to 10 smells like crunch but
