- why would I need a button on the GitHub homepage to auto-fill a Copilot prompt to ask it to: "Search for my latest merged PR and summarize it. What was the purpose and the key changes made?" Shouldn't you know what PRs you're creating...and what they do?
- 👏👏👏
- The Python Security Response Team membership is now public with a documented nomination process 🥳 devguide.python.org/developer-wo... #security #opensource #oss #python

- was in a bad mood all day, went to go rip some kettlebells whilst blasting electronic music. went from a level 9 sad girl to a measly level 2. exercise for endorphins, people!

- pardon my language but MARTY FUCKING SUPREME!!!
- Wrote up how I ended up with four machines in my closet running nightly JIT benchmarks. The answer to "does JIT go brrr?" is roughly "yes, YMMV... about 2-15% faster depending on your hardware" 🤠 savannah.dev/posts/i-run-...
- Thank you to @snarky.ca for nerdsniping me into building all of this! It's been really great for the JIT folks!

- Reposted by Savannah OstrowskiMaybe I've got rose-colored glasses but I love open source too much to believe it will not survive this AI wave. There's just something too profound about putting an idea out there and having people instantly build on top of it. I refuse to believe that will lose value or go away.

- Tonight begins my movie theatre birthday week marathon! Today, we’re seeing Lady Bird (a favourite of mine) and then 23/24/25 all of the LoTR extended cuts in honour of the 25th anniversary of the release of The Fellowship of the Ring. I am *so* excited!
- You can play around with the REPL here as well! playground.fastapicloud.dev
- Hacking on an embeddable Python REPL, powered by Wasm/Pyodide. My goal is to make it super simple to get Python running on a website...so that there's no package installation required, just specify the script tag and div and you're done (supports theming and package installs via attribute as well)!
- God help me, I’m watching this for a second time…on a plane. I’m about to get emotionally destroyed.
