- Seeing quite a few folks pointing out that Opus 4.6 regressed on its SWE-bench score compared to Opus 4.5. I read a lot of stuff about benchmarks the last couple months and I’m pretty sure it means nothing. It’s a test of how well models solve small Python bugs, mostly from Django.

- Yesterday our eldest inexplicably wanted to go to bed early. This is usually a sign that he’s unwell. Today he wanted to go to bed even earlier, but when he got upstairs he screamed for half an hour before spontaneously falling asleep. It’s really tough. He can’t communicate what’s wrong.
- Wanna come work with me? ngrok are shortly going to be posting a position for someone to take ownership of our video content, focusing on well-researched, well-presented AI educational stuff (a la ngrok.com/blog/prompt-...). If that sounds like your cup of tea, my DMs are open 🙏
- One of my favourite things about the new ngrok.com homepage is that we included our actual production-deployed Traffic Policy configuration, easter eggs and all. Through it you can get a good feel for the types of thing ngrok can do in 2026.
- Who’s making your favourite video content in the AI space that I might not have heard of before? 🙏
