The revolution in the US:
-Will get more violent than it currently is.
-I am losing confidence in the general public's ability to fight this because far too many people are hyper focused on their local problems in a very petty way (This is a summary of what I am seeing in The Bronx)
-People need to put on hold petty interpersonal problems while looking at the grander picture of becoming a stronger community that can fight this...
-In the absence of that (as is what I am experiencing in NYC), people will be vulnerable to a stronger push from ICE.
Feb 4, 2026 21:28-Then again, homeless shelters are full of people who do not have their shit together... So maybe my perspective is skewed... but while in public spaces of different socioeconomic tiers... I don't sense a true difference.
