- The SDF and the regime have both announced an end to hostilities and a framework for integration. As far as I've seen, nobody has released details about the integration bit. But the agreement includes immediate withdrawal of troops from contact lines, so we'll know in a few hours if it's working.
- I'm deeply suspicious of any reported agreement that involves concessions in Afrin and Serekanîye. I don't believe that the transitional government holds enough power in those areas to actually enforce the agreements.

- Jolani praising the Russian military is probably just one of those diplomacy things you have to do as a world leader, but it's still disgusting after what they did to Syria.
- Stop The War Coalition can fuck right off. The last thing we need is support from a group of worthless do nothings whose main role is to be a recruitment front for a sex abuse cult.

- HTS isn't ISIS, but the security forces of the transitional government have absorbed a bunch of groups that very much are ISIS-aligned. That's probably why there's footage of government soldiers releasing ISIS prisoners, and other footage of other government soldiers arresting them again.
- The Americans have bullied HTS into extending the ceasefire by 15 days. Not to protect civilian lives or help find a peaceful solution or anything, they just can't organise a simple prisoner transfer.
- There seems to be disagreement about whether the ceasefire in Rojava has ended, and HTS may be preparing for an attack on Hassakah, but I've not seen reports of any major fighting yet.
- You can't park there, mate.

- This "SDF have Iranian Shaheed drones" story that An Jazeera keep pushing is clearly nonsense, because if the SDF had Shaheeds they'd be using them right now.
- I've lost count of the number of immediately failed ceasefires in the last 48 hours. Either Jolani isn't negotiating in good faith, or he doesn't have any control over his forces.

- I can't contact most of my friends and I don't know where anyone is, but if any of you out there see this, know that I'm proud of you and love you, and remember that we carry the new world in our hearts. Be safe and be strong.
- The situation in Rojava/DAANES, as I understand it: Yesterday the SDF and the Autonomous Administration agreed to a humiliating ceasefire agreement with HTS (the new government), giving up civil and military control over their areas in exchange for an end to violence against civilians.
- Personal update first - I left Rojava at the end of last year, but didn't post about it for security reasons. So I'm safe. It feels awful and I hate it.
- The leading member of the International Coalition Against ISIS is idly watching and twiddling their thumbs as the newest member of the International Coalition Against ISIS releases all of the ISIS fighters from the prisons they recently gained control of by attacking another member of the Coalition.
- Current situation as far as I understand it: the defensive line on the southern section of the Euphrates was broken and that whole section of the front pulled back to the north. This allowed a partial encirclement of Raqqa, prompting a withdrawal there too. HTS forces have mostly focused on the oil.

- I'm not sharing much of the news today because the situation is unclear. There's definitely attacks on all the fronts with HTS, and something else in Deir Ez Zour. I've seen wildly conflicting reports on almost everything else.

- I think - and take this with a grain of salt, because the rumours might be wrong - that this means a withdrawal from the areas taken during the fall of the Assad regime, but not from areas taken from Daesh before that.
- HTS media reports that the entire PKK central committee has been photographed in Deir Hafr having tea and cakes with Assad and the ghost of Qasem Soleimani.

- Mfw the state media of a state that's supporting the regime I'm at war with writes an article that's critical of me:
- Summary of attacks on SDF-held areas west of the Euphrates today. Sounds like early probing with no commitment yet. Turkish drones are also participating, which is almost certainly going to kill the Turkey-PKK peace process.
- It's now confirmed that the Jolani regime has full military control of Şex Maqsoud and Aşrafiye neighbourhoods. The ceasefire was a withdrawal agreement for the internal security forces. Şex Maqsoud resisted for 13 years and laid the path that the rest of the revolution followed.

- No, mockery is not the best weapon against fascism. The best weapon against fascism is an AK47.
- Western MLs: "The PYD isn't anarchist and it's offensive to say it is." Western Anarchists: "The PYD isn't anarchist but holds beliefs compatible with anarchism." PYD Cadres: "When I joined I said I was an anarchist and they said that would have to change. But now we are an anarchist party!"
- My advice for anyone looking to set up an international structure for their movement is that Europeans and USians are awful, I'm really sorry, I don't know why we're like this.
