- So a player can own a share of a company that takes bets on trades, while he is the most important person deciding whether and where he will be traded? Not to mention the key player in games that said company will take bets on? It's absurd that the NBA allows this, let alone the government.
- This is a predictable bummer. CONCACAF is in a self-inflicted bind as long as they insist on a Gold Cup and Nations League every two years. It hurts both competitions, World Cup qualifying and interest across the board.
- This opening ceremony needs to get approximately 500% more Italian
- Someone run the numbers on whether we’re seeing the same in Serie A and La Liga, where they’re using the same Puma ball
- I once won Best Baserunner at Reggie Smith Baseball Camp and he gave me the trophy and it remains one of the coolest moments of my life. An extraordinarily deserved honor for an LA baseball legend.
- The Real Madrid/Barcelona beef over who's going to host the 2030 World Cup final is going to be hilarious. I'm not sure exactly how they're going to beef and why it's going to be hilarious, but there is a 100% chance it becomes ridiculous in a way we all enjoy.
- My every-four-years tradition of watching grown ass professional athletes bounce off of Hilary Knight like they're malnourished children
- Was thinking about how I don't really know much about Japanese internment other than the broad strokes and obvious injustice. Anyone know of good books and/or documentaries worth checking out?
- WEAPONS (2025)
- Tell That Mick He Just Made My List of Things to Do Today
- What really got me about the Miracle on Ice documentary is what the hell do you mean they had all this never-before-seen in-arena footage? Where the hell has it been for the last 45 years? It's one of the most famous sporting events ever and people were sitting on this?!? It's very cool.
- Oh so stunting too hard is a crime now?
- Ok now that the transfer window is shut there's no reason for Spurs not to fire everyone
- Syla and Savvy Swords still have two of the coldest names in sports
- Is Cuti the hero Tottenham need?
- You can’t expect Thomas Frank to have a plan for how to move the ball forward. He’s only been in charge for six months. You’ve got to give him time to come up with one (1) idea.
- Spurs’ press is so terrible and so nonsensical that it’s actually worked a few times. Presumably the plan is that if it’s so bad and nobody knows who’s marking who, then how can City know what they’re facing and that’ll confuse them.
