During a press conference in Washington, D.C., Deputy U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche announced that the Department of Justice had complied with its disclosure obligations under the Epstein Files Transparency Act. He explained that the delay in compliance was due to the time the Trump administration spent on “a series of experiments designed to gauge, with precision, the public’s tolerance for Trump’s atrocities, carefully calibrated against various scenarios involving disastrous revelations from the Epstein files.”
