Narcissists such as Bezos care only about the fulfillment of their own personal ambitions. WaPo's transformation to a fascist propaganda machine occurred gradually, as Bezos ceased to care about his legacy and saw the paper as currency he could trade for the benefits bestowed by his fealty to Trump.
