- Graduation day @kcl-spe.bsky.social! I love these days, a chance to celebrate our students and their families. This time there was an added hazard with yours truly straying *perilously* close to the edge of the stage!
- Reposted by Rod DacombeTime for another one of my old London paintings. I completed this one on a crowded street and the main focus is St Martin-in-the-Fields but I also enjoyed dashing in the passing people with a few pen strokes. This went into an exhibition and sold immediately. #art #streetart #London #watercolour
- In case anyone needs it after this week, here's my dog seeing snow fall for the first time. #dogs #blueskydogs
- A frosty walk with Blue to start the day
- Reposted by Rod DacombeIn May 2024, my wonderful wife Isabella was diagnosed with breast cancer. A whirlwind followed - surgery, 4 months of gruelling chemo, and more. She showed huge strength. She’s now taking on a 100km trek for CoppaFeel. Please sponsor her if you can: www.justgiving.com/page/isabell...
- Well, I can't pretend 2025 was anything other than a truly horrific year. But as one of life's optimists, I'm going to build on some of the (very few) good things I've done this year. More of these! My top 5 in no particular order...
- 1) I got to work with some amazing, talented people 2) Saw my eldest beat the odds and get into his top uni 3) Accidentally joined a punk covers band(!) 4) Did some training with my dog that we both really enjoyed (and did us both some good- see also lovely walks) 5) Started a job I think I'll love
- Anyway, life may not be all roses but it's easy to miss the good stuff if you don't look. Happy New Year everyone!

- Reposted by Rod DacombeWrote a short history of conspiracy theories, and why we're drowning in them, for MIT Technology Review. Short answer: they're not really theories but a way of understanding the world — false yet seductive www.technologyreview.com/2025/10/30/1...
