- I've a couple of feeders in my garden. The pigeons have become regulars, hoovering up spilt seed. The feeders get refilled regularly, so that the pigeons now see me as their 'provider'. Every time I go into the kitchen, this is what I see. Yesterday - wet but hopeful! #birding #birds #funny #nature
I live in the desert southwest. I have several unused feeders because the Woodhouse scrub jays empty the feeders onto the ground in minutes. My theory is they want to share with the towhees, quail, and other ground feeders.Feb 4, 2026 14:37
