- I keep thinking abt this as the list of scientists who interacted w/ him gets longer & longer. This kind of male academic exists on a spectrum & we've all interacted w/someone who won't engage w/women as intellectual peers & they don't even try to pretend if you're not f*ckable in their eyes.

- Am I up & logged in at 6:30 am to get my kid a spot in after hours care for the 26-27 school year? Yes, yes I am. Parenting in the US is a non-stop sprint for appropriate childcare support.
- My 13 year old looked around, saw kids from his school & was like "I'm good sitting right here," 8 year old was like "I might fall - I'll stay on the carpet," & my husband took a few lumbering spins around the rink. As for me? I was cruising - you can take the girl of out Jersey and all that 😏

- One of my students told me I am "effortlessly cool" - so you really can't tell me anything for the rest of the week. *It's not effortless at all AND "cool" is questionable but I'll take it 😂
- Took so long to feel good on my run today - the moment it clicked? 2.67 miles into a tempo run (!!) Anyway - it's done. and of course...I feel better having done it.

- I really wanted to run today but had to accept that it was a rest day. When I let myself sit with that - I realized tat I am so exhausted. This time of year is so draining. I need to sleep for week.
