Terrorism charges have been laid against the as yet unnamed offender in Perth. In my opinion this only happened due to the outrage from all sections of the community. To the non-Aboriginal people who have been complaining and helping keep this alive, thank you. It’s your voices that mattered.

I think Senator Thorpe had an impact. If nothing else, her voice is recorded in Hansard, engraving an indelible reminder to the repugnant racism of 2026.
