- Genuinely think that the reason many people aged 40+ are lurching to the far right is due to Social Media algorithms… They get a feed so curated, that they think it’s the only form of reality… becoming ignorant to everything else. Not excusing it, but it is a potential reason
- Social media is much more pernicious & has a much more radicalising effect than people realise.It’s why Musk paid a stupid amount for Twitter. It monetises & amplifies the Far Right, & is being used as a vehicle to manipulate & divide. Sadly,the damage will be done before anything is done to stop it
