Honestly I love hearing what inspires other peoples ocs. I know I draw inspirations from a lot of places and blend them into my characters. Would love to hear some traits or details that inspired your ocs in the comments!

(Old art) Beatrix very much was inspired by Utsuho Reiuji in her design, most obvious with the black hole eye like injury on her chest ahaha. I even gave her an arm canon at one point!
Ivor has always been the one oc that I was genuinely eagerly waiting for the day that someone said “oh he reminds me of Riff Riff from Rocky Horror” because I literally based Ivor’s design off him. He’s evolved a bit more since his original look but I hope the resemblance is still there xD
Nicks got two distinct ones. He was originally based off Ghost rider and named Nick because…of Nick Cage. Yes this all links back to him being based off Wicker Man (the roller coaster) but I saw how Brendan Fraser looked in The Mummy and was like….I can see Nick in this kind of outfit

Lots of people probably think of Beetlejuice when they think of Mr. S. Many even say he reminds them of Jack Black, both definitely have influenced him over the years. I think he always visually came to be because of Mr. E from Scooby Doo Mystery Inc.
In hindsight it’s actually so interesting Mr. E was an inspiration considering that while appearance wise I drew a lot from him…personality and character wise they are totally different.
