- This explains my old maths teacher, Mr Holden. Who was shite. I'd been in near-top maths sets until I got lumbered with him. He'd spend entire lessons 'teaching' a method which few of us would grok, then I'd go to a friend who was in a different set & he'd show me an explanation which took 5mins.
