- American religion has always been political. That’s why it’s broken & also why American government is broken. - What folks in our government are doing is SUPPOSED to be illegal. Unfortunately the enforcement of law is the province of the Executive Branch. And we know who’s in charge of that. The fox is picking his teeth in the henhouse. And the dogs guarding it have been neutered.
- If you can't, won't or don't hold yourself accountable for your actions, there's no use hoping an invisible divine friend, parent, or overseer will do it for you. And don't hold your breath waiting for karma, come-uppance, or any other kind of retribution to do the work required to clean THAT swamp.

- When we say lock 'em up impeach & fire them, who are we imagining is going to do this? The checks and balances inherent in the system? The legislators and judges with high moral fiber and intestinal fortitude? When we win all these court cases against these criminals, who's gonna enforce the law?
- Just imagine how many veterans' programs, educational improvements, healthcare options, and other worthwhile things could be funded with the money if ICE is defunded and disbanded. It doesn't take much imagination. Just a little guts and willingness to stand up and be counted as pro-democracy.

- Weather update: Even the damned Yankees like me, who have now lived so long in the deep south that our snow-acclimated blood is as thin as plain chicken broth (without any roux), think this is wrong. I moved to Louisiana for the mild winters. I was dreadfully misinformed 🙂
- When we all boycott Facebook, Amazon, Tesla, Walmart and Google (just to name a few) then our protests will mean more. Until then, most of our #resistance iceberg is stuck under the surface. That's harder to do than it sounds. Especially when you're in flyover country with nowhere else to shop.
