Here's a basic fact: most conspiracy theories tend towards antisemitism. Yes, that one. Mmm hmm, even that seemingly harmless one.
Flat Earthers? Moon Landing Truthers? Antisemitism. Q-Anon? 9/11 Inside Job? Antisemitism.
A lot of antisemitism boils down, itself, to a conspiracy that a shadowy cabal of rich and powerful people are controlling everything in existence with a high degree of success. It's the Protocols of the Elders of Zion bullshit. And it inflects modern conspiracist thinking about *everything.*
This isn't the only reason that you should be careful with how you interpret the Epstein Files, but it's a pretty important one to bear in mind. They do not 'explain everything' nor do they show how the course of the last 30 years was foreordained.
