Crazy times. If anyone knows what it means to be trapped, hunted down, shunned and threatened it is queer refugees. There are supportive family members sometimes, but very often your fear of being ostracized, tortured or killed will give you no other choice but to flee. And there are no legal paths.
Being "illegal", criminalized, having no possibility to ask the police for help, you cannot file a report against people attacking you is the daily circumstances for queers in hostile countries. Creating a sense of safety, belonging and rescue is our aim. Defending access to basic human rights.
You might not know how hard it is to get founding for legal advice. Even though it is key to accessing your right to asylum. We are working beyond our limits. Alone in the next 2 weeks there are 17 interviews at asylum offices. 17 queer refugees that hope to get the best support they deserve!

Help us to push harder, every single person counts and yes at the moment it is money that helps the most. Or you are a queer legal advicer & have extra time to volunteer.
