Our story begins with Mr. Brown announcing a surprise that the family was going to the beach! Everyone was excited! Paddington had never been to the beach so he overpacked just a bit! 🤭 Soon the family loaded up in the car and was enroute to the beach! They arrived and walked to find a spot! 2/7

First Paddington took a float in a tube while Jonathan and Judy splashed and played nearby! Next was a picnic lunch and Mr. Brown suggested they have a sandcastle building contest! Paddington found a great spot! He dug a moat, carried buckets of sand, and began building up the walls! 3/7

Paddington put his hat atop the big sandcastle he'd built! It was a big, beautiful sandcastle! He curled up inside the sandcastle! He was pretty tired, and was soon fast asleep! Suddenly, the tide rolled in! It knocked down Paddington's sandcastle and carried him out to sea in his bucket! 😯 4/7

As time passed, the Browns started to worry! They found Paddington's hat but where was he? They spotted a gathering of people on the pier nearby and ran over to see! It was Paddington being fished out of the water!🤭 Some believed that Paddington sailed from far away in the bucket! He was famous! 5/7

It was time for the Browns to head home! Paddington said he had a wonderful day! The Browns were happy Paddington was back safe and sound! On the drive home, Paddington dozed off in the backseat after his big adventure! 6/7
