I wish I could send him a virtual hug. He deserves none of this pile-on from all directions. I feel very sad about it.

Makes me sad also. I thought his speech today was that of a genuine honest man who has been let down. I’m fully behind him and don’t think we could have anyone better right now.

I totally agree 👍 and I just wish he had the support he so richly deserves. It's horrible to have to watch him being so undermined by all and sundry.

They did the same with Gordon Brown. It's only now, when people look back, they realise what a good man he was and how he really helped our country.
