On the back of a truck doing 90 on the interstate 🎲TTRPGs and misc nerd stuff. No Content. Ask me about Twilight 🧛

- Reading 5 Leagues from the Borderlands and I was quite taken by the table of enemy names for a miniature neutral system; simultaneously compellingly evocative and completely neutral. #tabletop #5leagues
- Reposted by AlyxGet this occult action thriller ttRPG for 1-7 people. Perfect if you enjoy playing powerful undead revenants embroiled in breakneck action, interpersonal drama, and occult investigation. Soundtrack by @mollynoise.bsky.social and human-made art by @stregawolf.art. Jump in now for early bird deals!
- First two Sparkle Dog space pirates complete. The red wash was more jarring than I wanted and I definitely struggle with techniques for stuff like flat armor plates. Good enough for now and color experimentation is part of the idea of this project. #minipainting #mini365 Minis YTD: 16 (+2)
- The Tau were fun but I'm done with tan and brown for a bit. Broke out my 2004 pile of shame and started up some old space marines for a fun space pirate gang. Just base colors so far. Pinky got an accent nail to better indicate who is about to get it. #minipainting #pinkhammer
- First #minipainting project of the year complete. The first in a line of "my dream Tau from 2004" projects in the pipeline, with Kroot, Vespids and Gue'vesa to follow. I plan to use these as my standard "Galactic Empire" minis for misc scifi wargaming. Minis YTD: 14 (+14) #mini365 #warhammer
- Pathfinders Pt II complete. I even managed to salvage the original speed painted test dude. I try to always use helmets because I've seen Starship Troopers, but the drone operator was too good to miss out on. #minipainting #warhammer #mini365
- If we're doing #ttrpg characters living rent free forever in our heads mine will always be the NPC tavern owner who was just a retired adventurer with a magic pot that made magically delicious soup. I wasted so much writing energy trying to get him involved in the story but my players never bit.
- Reposted by AlyxAlt-text is often hailed as an accessibility aid and it is that but also I want to point out other benefits: - mute filters work! your followers who have a term muted won't have to see an image you've properly alt-texted. - alt text shows up in search so you can SEARCH YOUR IMAGE POSTS (HUGE)

- I've been stretching my legs across some nerd domains and I find it interesting that the TTRPG community has so much resistance to their monolith while things like wargaming and TCGs just... don't. Nobody posts a Warhammer game and the replies are "Warhammer sucks, play a better game."
- First half of the Tau Pathfinder project complete. The second half just need detail work. Weather and life didn't give me as much time as I would have liked, so glad to still finish this by the end of the month. #Warhammer #minipainting #mini365 #tabletop

- You may breed the unholy cross between steer and man to haunt it's corridors, you may carve from the rock the unceasing labyrinth in which he dwells, but at the end of the day you still gotta find 4-6 friends who can promise a free evening every week.

- While I work on minis for 5 Parsecs, I put together a 5 Leagues warband since I'm much better set on fantasy. Going to try the intro scenario today hopefully; might even try to do an actual turn or two. #tabletop
- Five Leagues from the Borderlands with some advice that's relevant to all RPG and fantasy writers.
- Reposted by AlyxInstead of some LCD control panel, I decided this space marine bike will have a cassette player. #warhammer40K #spacemarines #minipainting #oldhammer

- Behold my mighty armies! Sick but at least I have time to get some painting done. I've been reading Five Parsecs from Home and might try some solo/co-op wargaming as an easier to organize alternative to a full party RPG. I'm using the excuse to build my dream Tau squad from 2004. #minipainting
- Fascinating historical thread. Did you know people used to think they could mold babies? Which got me thinking, what if you actually could for fantasy dwarves? A Dwarfish midwife is also a skilled artisan, carefully molding babes in their god's image. There are many cultural opinions on styling.

- Lloyd Alexander's Westmark #books had a huge impact on me growing up despite the fact I only encountered them once, but I finally found some used copies. I still remembered every page and it feels like coming home to read them again. I love Count Las Bombas, Musket, and Florian every bit I remember.
- After inventory, currently ~250/1200 painted. With the more basic stuff like animal fur and terrain I think a 1/day pace is ambitious but potentially doable. So let's dream big and call it 1 mini a day, 365 for the year. Tracking this with #mini365. 1/1 Count: Sm: 203/1100 Lg: 39/125
- While last year was highly successful personally it was an absolute creative black hole. I'm going to follow my current motivation and hope to start this year off differently by making a #minipainting push and (maybe??) get the majority of my minis painted this year.

- I don't generally subscribe to New Years resolutions as their arbitrary nature rarely engenders success, however this year I dedicated myself to finding and displaying grace both to myself and others. It's been a very upstream swim but also one of the most worthwhile internal goals I've set.
