- The newest season of Shrinking is a tough watch after my dad was diagnosed with Parkinson’s recently. It’s one of my favorite shows, but woof. We’ll see if I can make it past the first episode.

- No surgery for Gus today! The vet was heartened by how little fluid was in his chest and hopes the leak might heal on its own. We’ll get a follow up appt in a month to see how everything is going! Yay!
- Gus is having another (hopefully final) surgery tomorrow to help stop his leaking insides. There are three parts to the surgery and he’ll be at the emergency vet in BC for a few days. I know the world is falling apart but if you have any extra tots and pears, send them his way.

- To all the people mad about the signal messages and mutual aid groups, having group chats and friends is not the conspiracy theory you think it is.
- Interview #2 is about to start at 9:30 PST and I swear I feel like I've already lived a whole day after getting up so early!
- Me, all in like 3 seconds: Hewlett Packard. Can't be. Harry Potter. Absolutely not. Horsepower: Oh maybe? Health points: Ahh, thank you.
- I scheduled my first interview this morning at 7am because I really want this potential hire to know I am an absolute dumbass.
- My under eye patches are carrying a lot of my emotional and mental load this morning.

I certainly don't do that when I've been nowhere near the place where the fight has been happening and have done little more than make some donations from miles away.

- Had a family meeting today about setting screen time limits for our boys. We worked collectively to come up with our rules and consequences. Also me: doom scrolls the entire day
- We should not have to watch a video of a man being shot from sixteen different angles to prove that he didn’t deserve to die in the gutter.

- Reposted by CoriI am watching what is happening in Minneapolis on Ali Velshi and one of the ICE officers (off camera) literally says, “It’s like Call of Duty. Pretty cool huh?” as they shoot whatever it is they are shooting. Agents walking around, guns unholstered for no reason. This is insanity
