Fun challenge!
I wanted to see how much detail I could squeeze in here without losing readability, as well as animate within the 32x32 canvas. So here's an SD Tron Bonne, based on her MVC2 appearance!

Making a character you like on a 32x32 canvas, that is the only limitation, here is a WIP of a Samus redesign I did on my style for the example!
