- Somewhere in the past year "second order consequences" entered the lexicon of the frequently online and I am nominating it as this year's "media literacy".
- I think my future computer setuo will be a gaming pc running linux connected to the internet and a work pc running windows 10 and entirely disconnected from the internet. At least untill all my work can be done on linux.

- I think of everything I played last year Look Outside is my game of the year and is up there for all time. Themes, art, systems, I love basically every element of it. Everyone should play it.

- Novel is now over 60k words. I think I know how to land this ship now, which wasn't the case for a week or two there. Writing without a plot outline comes more naturally to me, but it does come with the risk of having no clue what the ending will actually be or how to get there.
- Sometimes it still surprises me that certain corners of the internet are a small world. People have been able to recognize me from my old persona in the past, but more recently folks have read my novel chapters and realized I also did Overstay despite finding the novel independently.

- Writing a novel vs writing a comic is such a nice change of pace. I have lots of space to just have a character think about why he's doing something vs feeling it is hard to spend more than a page doing that amount of content.
