- Reposted by Pete MilesThere’s a v cynical media and political blindspot in the Epstein shitshow. A feeding frenzy to get rid of Starmer while red-carpeting Farage into No10. Who is named in the files. As is Candy, Reform’s treasurer. With Bannon. And Brexit. Don’t cry about abuses of power and then do nothing about him.

- Reposted by Pete MilesWeird and almost universal revisionism today. Even at the time, it was pretty clear that Mandelson wasn't appointed *despite* his dodgy links but *because* of them. Trump's Washington is a dirty swamp. Mandelson was deemed a man able to swim in it. This wasn't a secret. Everybody said it out loud.
- Reposted by Pete MilesThe British mainstream media is busy trying to oust Starmer, again, and yet they seem not at all interested in a much bigger and more serious Epstein story involving Farage, Putin, and Brexit. Fortunately, @bylinetimes.bsky.social is.

I am talking about Russian political environment. The FBI says it had information that Mr. Epstein was managing part of Putin's fortune.

- Reposted by Pete MilesI'm sorry but it's very funny to me that the legislature of a G7/P5 country of 70 million is currently drafting the "Fuck This One Guy in Particular Act of 2026." Also, imagine tolerating a system of privilege so entrenched you need to rewrite centuries-old rules just to get at one douchebag.

- Reposted by Pete Miles“Based off the newest tranche of emails … Epstein, at the very least, believed that he was orchestrating the downfall of the global order in the 2010s. In June 2016, he emailed venture capitalist, early Facebook investor, and Palantir founder Peter Thiel, writing, ‘Brexit, just the beginning.’”

- Reposted by Pete MilesThe test for whether sufficient Epstein documents have been disclosed is simple. Do the documents so far disclosed explain the prosecutorial decisions and defense decisions, and any court decisions? If not, there is a gap between what has been disclosed and what was before court and the parties.
- I recommend...
- Reposted by Pete MilesIf true, this could explain a lot: Epstein’s mysterious money; the wire transactions to former Soviet states; Trump’s submissiveness around Putin.
- That's it, I'm dumping Booking.com. They messed up a booking resulting in me being charged for an extra night. Which would be ok if I could resolve it, but they have clearly deployed AI as a defence against human contact. I have battled a talking chat bot and a (crap) automated text message system.
- Reposted by Pete MilesI really can’t keep up with this. It’s like every vague suspicion of oligarch, finance and tech power come together - with Russian influence. Yes, you’re not imagining. Only Mandelson, Lebedev, Milner and Epstein and L’Affaire Russe
