- By the way, this weekend starts the PDX Winter Light Festival! It starts this Friday night and runs through next Sunday. It is one of my favorite pdx "things" because I need some sparkle to help fend off all of this dreariness. I volunteer a couple of nights, too. Check it out! pdxwlf.com
- I quite prefer this one where I am holding up the paper to my desk lamp. It gives a soft, orange glow and you can see the light through all of the letters, especially, "o", where the typeface went through the paper.
- I could have used one of these today. Brilliant!

- What a line-up! I also did not know there is an exhibit of Ursula LeGuin's work at the Oregon Contemporary Art Museum - www.portlandmercury.com/visual-art/2... - and "Lathe of Heaven" is playing at the TomorrowTheater. Both shows end this Sunday, 2/8.

- heads up for anyone who has already blocked Neil Gaiman. if you previously followed Neil before finding out he had assaulted multiple women, Bluesky might still have you set as following him. you can either fix that manually since he has reactivated or with this tool: cleanfollow-bsky.pages.dev
