- Now I know enough about AI to grok what MCP is, it irritates me because fundamentally: Make a cli tool instead! Then a human can use it too. It’s not stateless? That’s what unix sockets are for! Once again we’re reinventing stuff from the 70s and making it worse.
- Precisely! Have you looked at the Ralph Wiggum Technique? Aka, while loop? All these “innovations” from AI sphere are strange to me.
- Today @oliverjash.me reminded me that the Go version of the TypeScript compiler is available and now it comes with LSP. I just installed it, gave it a quick go in a relatively chunky TS project and holy moly! The difference is night and day. It is really fast! #typescript
