I feel like the reason so many people are averse to communism is because they believe that you can't own ANYTHING (not true) and that they believe stalinism is the only form on communism (not true, stalinism isn't even communism)

I'm against it because 1) I like democracy a lot and 2) all the communists I meet are wretched.

communism is *more* democratic than capitalism

Nope, and certainly not anywhere it's been tried.

Under capitalism, you only get to vote once every few years or so, but have zero say over decisions at your workplace or how labor is organized. Communism is more democratic than capitalism, sorry

Where?

True communism hasn't been achieved anywhere yet, because any attempt at socialism or communism tends to get disrupted by capitalist powers (shocker), embargo'd, tarrif'd, foreign intervention, etc.
If you look at the *system*, then yes, communism is objectively more democratic than capitalism

Oh, well I'm only interested in actual systems that exist in the world. Theoretical communism is just Fandom.

You only believe in things that exist currently? Nothing can exist after what exists today? lol

Not communism, no. Unless its happening somewhere now?

You stated that communism wasn't democratic, you were objectively wrong, sorry

Everywhere it has been tried has ended up far less democratic than liberal democracies. That's just the track record. If you want to be taken seriously you need concrete answers to that, more than "not true communism!" You know?

Sorry you were wrong on the internet man
