- Don't know who in the industry needs to hear this, but I hope that the entertainment team members at Six Flags America find good homes in the industry. What they're consistently able to pull off with LITERALLY PENNIES is *REALLY* impressive. They've always punched WAY above their weight/budget.
- Something like 20 operating hours remain for Six Flags America. 😥 Anyone else planning to make it out for the closing day next weekend?
- Scoop: Rocky Mountain Construction is planning to build a 45ft tall Wild Moose prototype at their Idaho headquarters! This will likely be a small test track similar to what RMC built while developing the Raptor. No matter the scale, it will be exciting to see an ACTUAL Wild Moose in action! 🫎
- SCOOP: Legacy Six Flags-style haunted house upcharges appear to be on their way to a number of legacy Cedar Fair parks this year. At minimum we have seen solid upcharge plans evidence for #CanadasWonderland, #Carowinds #KingsDominion, and #WorldsOfFun.
- I wish we had happier news this Christmas Eve but... 🙁
- Big news tomorrow. See you then.
- Yikes. Another unannounced attraction bloodbath out of the new Six Flags chain in '25. If it can happen at Carowinds—the center of a lot of focus & investment by Cedar Fair recently—it could happen ANYWHERE. Other parks should be shaking in their boots right now. 😬 www.carowinds.com/blog/2024/ch...
- Not this time Chester & Hester, not this time.
- The loss of "distraction and diversion-type" attractions like the Liberty Square Riverboat & Tom Sawyer's Island really harm the Magic Kingdom in my opinion, but at least I can understand the financial calculation. What I find completely unfathomable is the removal of Rivers of America. 🙁
- Out at ZooTampa for my coaster count +1. I think Tasmanian Tiger is the largest Wisdom Rides coaster I've hit and... yikes. It really tracks spectacularly poorly. 😖
- Dining at Disney's least-talked-about, least-appreciated table service restaurant in Florida tonight. Whatever you assume I was going to say, I bet it wasn't this one!
- Another DHS hot take: The Twilight Zone IP does very little for Tower of Terror and it's reasonable for Disney to want to stop rights payments. THAT SAID, the tone, vibe, soul, and general setting & story of the current attraction can *and should* be saved long-term with a new, park-original story.
- "Muppets Records Presents Rock 'N' Roller Coaster Starring The Electric Mayhem Band" Still quite happy with the plans for Rock 'N—just desperately hope that the project includes some preshow restructuring and, most importantly, a fleet of new Vekoma MK1212 trains. New trains would be a GAMECHANGER.
- Hot take: Mama Melrose, compared to the sea of other bad Italian restaurants that litter Walt Disney World, really isn't THAT bad. I'd even say it's one of the better DHS table-service options (yes, another low bar). Give me Mama Melrose over Tutto Italia or Brown Derby any day though.

- Yeah, but I can do AMRAP in one cycle with the E-Liminator X Blaster and really bulk up those concentric finger muscles. Combine that with the treadmill action on MinionBlast and you got a prime HIIT thoosie couplet bro. You could never get jacked and swole on Shrek 4-D. 💪 Gains > Enjoyment! 😤
