- Reposted by Oxfordshire Liveable StreetsWe should all be able to move through our streets freely and safely, but barriers like broken pavements, street clutter and missing dropped kerbs make it difficult for many of us. It’s time for streets that work for everyone. Learn more about the issues on our site: bit.ly/4oWaHCu
- The data speaks for itself. But it’s really hard to imagine life without “the accident that didn’t happen”.. the injuries not sustained, the time not in hospital, the time not able to work or earn, the impact on our bodies, minds and families..
- This is why it’s really key to hear what life feels like for people inside the LTNs, years on. After @cohsat.bsky.social published the latest analysis we asked a few people what had changed for them and this is what we heard 👇🏽
- Reposted by Oxfordshire Liveable StreetsAfter 2+ years of legal battles, the Court of Appeal has ruled in our favour. Tower Hamlets cannot lawfully remove our safer streets. A huge precedent for London. www.standard.co.uk/news/london/...
- Brilliant piece of work from The Clarion on speeding on Oxford’s roads “while the public debate obsesses about potholes and the (largely) monetary damage they can cause to tyres and cars, our streets are still lethal places for too many vulnerable road users”. #Perspective people…

- Reposted by Oxfordshire Liveable StreetsTransport isn’t just about getting from A to B. It’s about freedom, connection and participation. Yet disabled people make 30% fewer journeys because of the barriers we face. We’re calling for transport that gives disabled people the same choices and chances as everyone else.
