well the reason is their contract with dreamworks is up
this expressly sucks, and I hate it, BUT the potential upside is:
- dreamworks now has the ability to do the right thing and release the second half of the series elsewhere (physical or digital) and we should be aggressively pushing for this
Reminder: you have less than a month to watch "She-ra and the Princesses of Power" on Netflix before they remove it forever on Feb 20 for no god damn reason. Go enjoy 52 of the best half-hours of TV made in the past decade & get whatever joy, laughter, and hope you can from them while you still can.
- now that everyone knows it’s leaving and is being vocally upset about it it should show dreamworks that there is still abundant interest in and love for this series that they could be capitalizing on (you hear that dreamworks higher-ups? MONEY. GET YOUR $$$ FROM THE GAYS TODAY!)
which at the bare minimum should hopefully lead to a full series physical release on blu-ray and dvd with special features from the cast and crew 🙏 MANIFESTING 🙏
