I think the 2016 and 2024 elections showed that leftists have a lot to learn about just sucking it up and choosing the better option and liberals have a lot to learn about listening to the people to their left who say “everything is not perfect.”
Yeah, like these nitwits still haven’t figured out the way to avoid being here is not to spend 18 months poisoning the well against the one option to prevent fascism.
Now that we are here, yes, maybe start listening to us since that was too much to ask before, and you fucked up.
Feb 4, 2026 14:20This would be true if the majority of leftists didn't already vote for the candidate they knew was the lesser evil.
The only people I know who couldn't bring themselves to vote for Kamala in 2024 were the people who had relatives IN PALESTINE. Which. Understandable.
If you run a bad campaign and fail to mobilize people, you lose. End of. Run better candidates.
Of course you think that. You have no imagination like the rest of the right wing dickheads.
Well said
You're right, but not in the way that you think you are.
A lot of leftists caved & voted for Harris in 2024 when we should've sucked it up & chosen the better option: abstention.
Having TWO parties that can endorse genocide & still win is far worse than ony having one party that can endorse genocide & win, so - even though she still lost - we still propped up her turnout numbers and muddied the waters when it comes to assessing "genocide's impact on democrat turnout".
