I'll be honest, while I do think it's been very beneficial to debunk grifters and try to promote real media criticism, there's always the occasional weirdo who will email me or jump in discord saying "HEY THIS PERSON BLOCKED ME MAKE A VIDEO ON THEM" Like...that's not why I do what I do here. 🧵
Jan 4, 2026 19:04If I see a topic being covered by grifters that they're discussing in bad faith, then I'll go in and debunk them, & hopefully in doing so, encourage people to look deeper at media, & also really consider what they consider "criticism". My channel is a media criticism channel, not a drama channel.
So while I do appreciate people that have actually brought me good suggestions for topics to debunk, I do get annoyed seeing people who just seem they want to start a harassment campaign. At that point, you're missing the point of why I do these videos, especially since I don't condone harassment.
Hopefully that makes sense - I often feel I'm not the best at wording. I just get annoyed seeing those people on occasion. Thankfully in general, I'd say I have built up a very good community of people who actually care about media & true criticism. And that makes me very happy. Thanks everyone.
