Lāhainā Noon, also known as a zero shadow day, is a unique solar phenomenon that occurs in Hawaii when the sun is directly overhead at solar noon, causing upright objects to cast no shadow. This event happens twice a year, around May and July, due to Hawaii’s location in the tropic.
