- Today is Holocaust Memorial Day, marking over 80 years since the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau. We remember and think of the millions of Jewish men, women and children along with countless others murdered by the Nazis and their collaborators. #holocaustmemorialday

- Privilege to be on Arena live from the GPO celebrating the 100th anniversary of @rte.ie and talking to Rick O'Shea about connections between @abbeytheatre.bsky.social and the National Broadcaster along with Bríd Ní Neachtain. Great also to welcome RTE back to the northside and to Dublin 1.

- I hadn’t seen this before now and I am completely blown away. Jesse Buckley singing Sinead O’Connor’s Troy. Kindred spirits. Connected to the same well, the same source. Unbelievable performance. Everyone needs to see this. Fire 🔥
- Could not be happier for someone. Congratulations to Jesse Buckley for receiving @goldenglobes.bsky.social for her stunning performance in Hamnet

- Theatre is important. Now more than ever... Amongst increasingly binary discourse, we react not to what we see, but to what we imagine — and how those reactions mirror our cultural avoidance of painful truths. Caitríona McLaughlin @abbeytheatre.bsky.social www.youtube.com/watch?v=Plke...

- This is such an important book. Patrick Lonergan has done us a great service in writing down in words the essence of @druidtheatre.bsky.social first 50 years. That which it was, is, and will be, the eternal quest for alchemy borne of the earth far beneath the streets of Galway.

- One of my favourite renditions of Fairytale was on the streets of Dublin City as Shane passed on his journey home just over two years ago. True love. #ShaneMcGowan #speirgorm
- He wrote songs for many of life’s journeys may his next one be to home. Rest in music Chris Rea.
- Villa without Rogers would never have scored. United without Deligt, Mbuemo, Amad, Maguire, Mazraoui, Casemiro should have at least drawn. Sesko, Cunha wasteful. Also loved Martinez in the pivot, tackling & his insightful passing brilliant. Still only 3 points off top 4. Onwards #MUFC

- What a stunning film Hamnet is. Another adaptation of a brilliant book that sings a song of its own. Hamnet shines. Chloe Zhao’s direction is mesmerising. Łukasz Żal cinematography is so beautiful and there simply are not enough superlatives for Jesse Buckley and Paul Mescal.

- 100 years since he was born. His presence and words much missed. I loved loved loved his writing, particularly on sport. The archetypal magic realist writer before that phrase was born. The great Con Houlihan.
